Although I do not qualify to write about Arthur C. Clarke, I just can not help saying a few words about this great man, who is no more with us. Known popularly for his immensely influential 2001: A Space Odyssey, Arthut C Clarke was known for his visionary ideas. If the world is flat today, a lot of credit of this should go to the late visionary. It was he who conceptualised Geostationary communication satellite, the single most important thing in breaking the information barriers. Not that he formed a part of my universe, but still, he will be fondly missed!
